Construction Supervisor

How does this all work? Thanks. And so today I found out that… Josh, Same thing, different name. Some free advice from someone that has been a "construction manager": If you are going to spend 4 years and tens of thousands of dollars on a construction related degree, become an engineer or architect. Construction Managers work terrible hours in lousy weather, travel too much and are subject to layoffs every time the economy takes a turn for the worst.

Supervisor is like a foreman on the crew, Manager is the main person on the project. Supervisor is possible with experience only, but the manager needs the tech school degree.

A management job is a management job. Be a carpenter first and then you will know what is like to be the best construction manager that you can be. You have to know the job before anyone will want you to tell them what to do and how to do it,
