Plan Reading

I'm currently reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I plan to read these books before the end of the year: Fountainhead by Ayn Rand Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Hopefully I can finish em by then. They are long books. Do you know what I found? Plan to read: The Dark tower Series — Stephen King Misery — Stephen King The Green Mile — Stephen King Anna Karenina (just like you.) — Leo Tolstoy Crhyme and Punishment — Fyodor Dostoevsky The Adventures of Tom Sawyer — Mark Twain The Road — Cormac McCarthy Northanger Abbey — Jane Austen The Stand — Stephen King A Tale of Two Cities — Charles Dickens It's a big list, but I might be able to finish it.

Anything new by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, John Grisham, Jodie Picoult, Harlan Coben, and Thomas Harris (if he were to write something new) I would also like to read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Anna Karenina is depressing btw.

Please don't waste your time with The Fountainhead, its silly immature unrealistic neo con economics, forget it, read something informative and factual. You'd get more out of memorizing phone books.

Your reading list looks good. I'm sure you can get them done by the end of the year, because they're all extremely good, absorbing books which will suck you in--you won't even notice the length once you get going. The only book I absolutely want to get read by the end of 2008 is Mein Kampf, by Adolph Hitler. I've been reading about WWII for years now, and I finally decided that despite the fact that I really hate the man and what he did, I need to sort of "go to the source" to try and understand him. Wish me luck. I've a feeling, from scanning the book, that it's one where I'm going to be gagging and wishing for an airsick bag at times. Lots of times, from the look of it.
