Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman designates a skill level of electrician, they know more than an apprentice or journeyman-in-training, but probably not as much as a Master Electrician (who would be required to know every law and electrical code in their area and also would be more skilled and experienced). A journeyman can install electrical wiring, boxes, etc. Under the employment of a Master Electrician or an Electrical Contractor. Each level has a test they have to pass (and a certain number of hours working in the position below it) before they can be named a journeyman or master electrician.
